UVA Club of Birmingham: Cavs Care - Block Party at Ensley

All alumni, friends, and families are invited by the UVA Club of Birmingham in volunteering at Block Party, presented by The Flourish in association with the Ensley Park Recreation Center. This is a free event that will provide a bonding experience for fathers and their families through engaging the community with kids activities, panel discussions, live music, business markets, and more. We need help with staffing! Volunteer slots and activities below:

  • 4 people to set up, from 11 a.m.-noon
  • 2 people to grill/cook hotdogs and hamburgers, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • 3 people to serve food - two time slots available: noon-2 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.
  • 2 people to monitor bounce houses - two time slots available: noon-2 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.
  • 4 people to breakdown, from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Join Hoos across the Globe to build bridges in your community and back to Grounds through the Cavs Care Worldwide Service Weekend taking place Friday, June 21–Sunday, June 23.
