Dr. Bill Petri once again joined On-Air with UVA for a discussion on COVID-19. Dr. Petri highlighted progress in addressing COVID-19, discussed vaccinations, and provided insight on UVA Health’s ongoing role in combating COVID-19. UVA alumni, friends, and families asked questions about the research worldwide and data on COVID-19, the efficacy of different vaccinations, and how variants have developed.

If you are interested in supporting Dr. Petri’s ongoing research into COVID-19, please click here and search “Petri Research Gifts” or contact Debbie Ryan in the UVA Health Development Office at dryan@virginia.edu or 434.981.6787.

Dr. Bill Petri, (GSAS ’80, MED ’82, ’88), is the Wade Hampton Frost Professor of Medicine and Vice Chair for Research of the Department of Medicine, and Professor of Medicine, Microbiology, Immunology and Cancer Biology, and Pathology.
