UVA Club of Washington DC: DC Hoos Annual Potomac River Cruise

All alumni, family, friends, and guests are invited to join the UVA Club of Washington, DC for our 2023 DC Hoos Party Cruise!

Join fellow Wahoos as we sail down the Potomac on the stylish double-decker Boomerang Party Yacht with a spread of appetizers, a DJ, and an open bar. Proceeds benefit UVA Club operations in the Greater DC area.

As seen on The Travel Channel, MTV’s The Real World, ABC, and more, the Boomerang is one of the summer staples of the DC area (and the DC Hoos) since 2006!

Key Details:

- We'll embark at 7:45 p.m. ET and sail the Potomac until 9:45 p.m. ET.

- The boat leaves promptly at 7:45 p.m. so arrive dockside at least 15 minutes in advance for check-in.

- This event is restricted to attendees who are 21+.

-This event is a rain or shine event.

Directions:

- Via Uber/Lyft/Taxi: Travel to Georgetown Waterfront. The boat will board from Nick's Riverside Grill.

- Via Metro: From Foggy Bottom and Farragut North, take the bus toward Georgetown, exiting at the 31st Street stop.

- Via Car: There is plentiful parking in Georgetown but meters are scarce on weekends. You may need to use a pay-garage. Be sure to drive responsibly!
