UVA Club of Richmond: Wine Tasting at Penny's Wine Shop

The UVA Club of Richmond is excited to host a wine tasting event on Saturday, May 11 from 12-2 p.m. at Penny's Wine Shop in Jackson Ward. Please join us and support the UVA Club of Richmond and a small business at the same time!

Penny's Wine Shop is co-owned by two UVA alum, Kristen Gardner Beal (Col '12) and Lance Lemon (Col '11). Kristen and Lance will guide participants through an interactive wine tasting experience. Penny’s Wine Shop is a brick and mortar concept of natural wine, small plates, and seasonal menu offerings. Penny's is hand-built with love and serves as a curated space for community, exploration of the palate, and conversation. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy an awesome wine tasting event and have fun networking with the UVA Community!

Ticket Pricing:

The Early Bird ticket price is $50. The ticket price will increase to $55 on Saturday, April 27. $20 of every ticket purchased will be a donation to the UVA Club of Richmond. Tickets for this event are nonrefundable.

Your ticket price includes 1 wine tasting experience per person and light snacks. Additional food and beverages are available for purchase. The UVA Club of Richmond will also have special UVA giveaway items for all participants. Additional door prizes and drawings will be available for cool UVA stuff including a wine opener, golf tees, garment bags, UVA picture frames, pictures from the lawn and a basketball signed by Tony Bennett!
