UVA Club of Orange County: Shady Canyon Trail Hike

All alumni, friends, and families are invited to join the UVA Club of Orange County for a morning hike in beautiful Shady Canyon!

The Shady Canyon Trail is an incredibly scenic route along Shady Canyon Drive in southern Irvine. Extending through the southern reaches of the historic Irvine Ranch and protected Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks, the trail is moderate, as there are a few hilly inclines.

The round-trip trail hike is approximately 8 miles, but we will split into smaller groups for the return trip for those who would like to do shorter distances. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and water, and wear comfortable shoes for the pavement and dirt trail.
