Join DC Hoos as we celebrate the start of a new academic year and the fact that WE do not have classes!

All UVA alumni, families, friends, doggies, and kiddos are invited to join us for a fun evening out at Shipgarten in Tysons Corner as the end of summer approaches. We encourage families and pets to join us, as there is a playground, bouncy houses, and a dog park on-site. All proceeds from this event will go towards our DC Hoos Scholarship Fund for deserving rising first-year students.

 

Event Details:

  • $30 ticket includes 2 alcoholic beverages, chips + guac/salsa
  • $15 ticket includes 2 soft drinks, chips + guac/salsa
  • Children 10 and under are free to attend

 

Parking and Transportation Information:

1700 Old Meadow Rd.

McLean, VA 22102.

Parking is conveniently located five minutes away by foot, and we offer a free, pet-friendly, and complimentary shuttle bus service that runs on a continuous loop to and from the venue and parking lot!

Shipgarten is accessible via the Silver Line Mclean metro station and is a 6-minute walk from the station.
