UVA Clubs: A Conversation UVA Rower Lindsay Dare Shoop & Coach Kevin Sauer
All alumni, parents, and friends are invited to join us for a conversation with Author & Rower Lindsay Dare Shoop (CLAS '03) and UVA Women's Rowing Coach Kevin Sauer (PAR '04, '05). Lindsay will share her experiences rowing at UVA and beyond, along with the process for writing her book, "Better Great Than Never: Believing It's Possible Is Where Champions Begin". Lindsay will be joined in conversation by Kevin Sauer, who was Lindsay's coach during her career at UVA. Lindsay will also share her favorite parts from the book and answer questions from the audience about the book and her experiences. Lastly, Lindsay has signed three copies of her book which will be given to three attendees as door prizes!

Lindsay Dare Shoop (CLAS 03') is a coach, author, speaker, and lifelong athlete. She is an Olympic gold medalist, a three-time World Champion, five-time World Cup medalist, and a National Rowing Hall of Fame inductee. Lindsay lives in Florida, where she daily seeks to mentor, inspire, and improve the lives of others by sharing her knowledge of health and wellness along with her journey of self-discovery from ultimate defeat, to Olympic gold.
