UVA Clubs: Behind the Scenes - Antiques & Art with Pat Powell

Pat Powell (CLAS '70, GSAS '72) invites all alumni, parents, and friends to a fun virtual Behind the Scenes visit as he opens his house and shares his extensive antiques and art collection. A self-described "obsessive collector", Pat gives us a window into his world with amusing anecdotes and useful tips for collecting.

A Charlottesville native and former auctioneer, Pat was co-owner of Harlowe-Powell Auction until 2014. While he has retired from auctioning antiques, he is still an avid collector. His interests are varied and include pieces from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. Join us for a lively and informative tour of Pat's house and collections, followed by an interactive Q&A session.
