On-Air with Alex Hernandez: “And Justice For All: Reskilling America During The Pandemic”

The UVA Clubs program and the School of Professional and Continuing Studies invite you to join Alex Hernandez for a private conference call. Alex Hernandez, the Dean of the School of Professional and Continuing Studies, will discuss “And Justice For All: Reskilling America During The Pandemic” and then will answer questions from the audience.

The pandemic is bending the future of work and learning. Today, over 40 million Americans are functionally unemployed. And the digitization of work is increasing the need for both technology and human skills. How can we give workers an edge? How do we navigate these tectonic shifts that are disproportionately impacting Blacks, Latinos, women, and adults without college degrees?

Building on lessons learned from innovators across the country, Dean Hernandez will share his thoughts and insights on how to create opportunity for more Americans.

Important Note: Call-in number and passcode will be emailed to registered participants upon registration. You must have these details to access this private phone call.
