Join Dr. Shayna Showalter and Dr. Leigh Cantrell for an informative conversation about the new UVA Breast Care Center, which consolidates care in one convenient, beautiful setting, and supports lifesaving clinical trials and research to improve breast care for all women.

Following this discussion, these two leading UVA Cancer Center physicians will be joined by Christi Sheffield, Director, Clinical Operations, Community Oncology, and Pat Gaspard, Imaging Manager, Breast Care Center, for a panel discussion on how the center supports both patients and progress. You will also have an opportunity to ask your own questions.

Wendy Horton, PharmD, MBA, Chief Operating Officer, UVA Medical Center, will offer opening remarks.

Dr. Shayna Showalter is an associate professor in UVA’s Division of Surgical Oncology, Chief of Breast Surgery, and Director of UVA’s Breast Care Program. She specializes in treating breast cancer and diseases of the breast.

Dr. Leigh Cantrell is an associate professor in UVA’s Division of Gynecologic Oncology and Medical Director for Ambulatory Oncology in UVA Cancer Center. She cares for women with cancer using surgical and chemotherapy options.
