UVA Club of Miami: Hoos Here!

Welcome to Miami! All alumni, friends, and families are invited to join the UVA Club of Miami for our Hoos Here Double Decker Sunset Bus Tour. We'll meet at CubaOcho at 5 p.m. to grab a drink and get situated before boarding our bus and and embarking on a two-hour tour of the city, including Brickell, Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, and Little Havana, led by Miami native and private guide, Carolina. After learning about the fascinating history of these iconic Miami neighborhoods, we'll arrive back at CubaOcho by 8 p.m. For those who want to continue socializing, we'll head next door to the famous Ball & Chain for food, drinks, and music.

Please bring a jacket and hair tie as needed, as it can get windy on the top deck. This event is open to all South Florida Hoos and their families, ages 12 and up.

Whether you are new to the area or a longtime resident, Hoos Here is a great opportunity for all Hoos to meet up with their local UVA community, see old friends, and make new connections. Come share your UVA memories and make some new ones!

Registration for this signature event includes a $5 tax-deductible donation to the UVA Club of Miami to support future programming.
