UVA Club of Santa Barbara: Hoos Hiking at Rattlesnake Canyon

All alumni, friends, and families are invited to join the UVA Club of Santa Barbara for a Spring hike at Rattlesnake Canyon on Saturday, May 11 at 10 a.m. PT. We will lead a hike from the trailhead located at 1899 Las Canoas Road (adjacent to Skofield Park) through Rattlesnake Canyon up to Gibraltar Road.

This scenic hike has waterfalls, old-growth oak forests, and impressive rock features on the way up to a panoramic view of Santa Barbara and the coast, including the Channel Islands. This moderate intensity hike is 4.5 miles roundtrip and takes 2-2.5 hours to complete. Please remember to bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses/hat, snacks, and good footwear. Dogs are permitted on this trail.
