Did you recently hear from one of UVA’s donor experience officers? They reach out to undergraduate alumni and help create personalized donor experiences so Hoos can support the areas, causes, and people that are important to them.

Jeanna Grimes Ogbar is the senior associate director of donor experience. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from UVA in 2002 and a master’s degree in communication from American University. In Charlottesville, Jeanna enjoys visiting vintage and thrift stores, and her favorite area on Grounds is the steps of the McIntire Ampitheatre.

Ebony Gaines is a donor experience officer. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science. Ebony enjoys traveling both domestically and abroad, exploring new and diverse cultures, and her favorite spot on Grounds is the Tahija Arboretum & LaCross Botanical Gardens.

Madison Hickman is a donor experience officer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and an M.Ed. in College Student Affairs Administration. Madison is a Charlottesville native and she enjoys baking and owns a stationery company. Her favorite place on Grounds is in the Gardens behind the pavilions on the lawn - paired with a bagel from Bodo's they make for an excellent picnic spot!

Cameron Kennedy is a donor experience officer. He graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. In Charlottesville, he enjoys going to the IX Art Part and Farmers Market and his favorite place on Grounds is the lawn in front of Darden.

Agatha Walker is a donor experience officer. She earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from Williams College and spent many decades working in advertising in New York City. Agatha and her family are big Cavaliers’ fans and when they are in Charlottesville they enjoy catching a UVA game, eating Bodo’s bagels, and taking in the rich history and culture that surrounds Grounds.
