McCall Sinclair (Col ’24) he/him
When McCall was accepted into the University of Virginia, people asked, “Where’s that?” People living in the rural area of Oklahoma that McCall is from weren’t used to graduating students seeking an East Coast education.
As a student, McCall has been a recipient of several scholarships that have allowed him to grow and thrive during his time at UVA.
With graduation ahead, McCall is making sure to give back to the community he comes from. Through his undergraduate research as part of the Media Studies Distinguished Major Program, he is putting his community and others like it on the map in hopes of generating empathy between urban and rural communities.
