The UVA Club of the Virginia Peninsula is a diverse group consisting of alumni, students, parents and friends of the University.  We host a series of events throughout the year to help connect members and promote UVA.  Our signature events include:

• the First Year Student Send-Off held during the summer
• the Wine and Beer Tasting in the spring
• the Pub Crawl in the fall

There is no bigger rivalry in the Commonwealth of Virginia than the one between UVA and Virginia Tech. Every year we watch our sports teams compete and cheer on our beloved Hoos.

Now a new type of competition will start and it will help accomplish something that no game could ever do: Feed our local neighbors.

To kick off the Food Fight we will be having Happy Hour starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday August 30 with the Virginia Tech alumni at the Vanguard Brewpub and Distillery in Hampton.

Please bring some canned goods to the event as an initial donation.
