Submitting your event information is a necessary and required step to be sure you get the most visibility to your local alumni, friends, and families. As soon as you have your event planned, submit your event via our step-by-step form to get the marketing process started.

Virtual Event Backgrounds
Whether you’re participating in a UVA Clubs event, social, or work meeting, show your Wahoo pride with UVA Zoom backgrounds. Choose from:
- General UVA Backgrounds
- Video Backgrounds
- Book Club Backgrounds
- Backgrounds from Across Grounds: UVA Today / Athletics / Library / School of Education & Human Development / Medicine
During a meeting:
- In a Zoom meeting click the ^ arrow next to the ‘Start/Stop Video‘ at the bottom of your screen
- From the menu, click ‘Choose Virtual Background’
- On the next screen, click the + sign
- From the menu select ‘Add Image’
- Find the UVA background saved in your files and select it; the file will then appear in the ‘Choose Virtual Background’ options box
- Next, click on the desired background image and your Zoom background will change
- Exit out of the settings window and enjoy your meeting!
